Client Services
Our services include:
- individualized assessment,
- on-site resource centre,
- career planning,
- employment search skills training through individual and workshop formats,
- supported job search,
- direct employer connections
- education/training placement, and
- connections to community support services.
We maintain follow-up support over six months with additional job coaching, personal support, Disability Related Employment Supports (DRES) or adaptive technology supports as required.
Your first step: call (403) 265-5374 or e-mail info@championscareercentre.org to register for Orientation, which is held every Tuesday. All of our services are provided free of charge.
Clients also have access to a barrier-free business centre in our office which includes a library, computer lab with assistive technology and the use of phones, fax, TTY and printer.
Disability Related Employment Supports (DRES)
Clients who are employed but need additional support or assistive technology may apply for DRES funding through Champions.
DRES is an application and approval process funded by Alberta Human Services. We consult with you about your specific needs and initiate the application process with you.
